Community Service Opportunity

We welcome high school students who are interested in Chinese culture to join our community.  

Working Hours: Saturdays from 9:30am to 12:00pm (15 sessions/per semester, 2 semesters a year). Location: Hamilton Hall, 1130 Amsterdam Ave., Columbia University.
Benefits: Community service credit / Recommendation Letter. 

Job Description

Key responsibilities include supporting the instructors in classroom management, procuring supplies, assisting in administrative duties, and supervising children during recess. Program meets Saturday mornings from 9:30am to 12pm on the Morningside Campus of Columbia University.

Requirements

• Currently attending a New York City high school.

• Should be Interested in Chinese culture.

• Intermediate or advanced Chinese skills.

• Be responsible and enjoy working with young children.

• Commitment to the full program year is preferred.
